Before the LCD prices crashed a couple of years back, I always eyed the Sony SXRD at Jumbo Electronics. It was a backit projection TV that was HD capable and reasonably priced for a 40+ inch screen for the time. Sony wisely discontinued the SXRD because of the crash in prices of LCD screens some time back but its back- although not quite in the form of a television. Today, I’m looking at the Sony VPL-BW7 Projector which is part of the new 3LCD SXRD range of projectors.
