XFX HD 5970 Black Edition Video Card Review

Posted on Friday, December 18 2009 @ 16:26:42 CET by

In terms of features the HD 5970 can’t be beat by anything from the NVIDIA team at the moment and their answer to the HD 5xxx series will not be available until sometime next year. In terms of performance the XFX Radeon HD 5970 Black Edition performs very well indeed with very high performance on standard settings. This card comes shipped at the standard reference clocks but includes an OverVoltage utility that can take it to the next level, with 100MHz engine and 250MHz memory overclocks completely stable throughout testing. This is a great overclock for a 2-GPU card and performance is commensurate with the clocks.
