Bytecc ME-350U2 3.5" Aluminum External Enclosure Review

I was rather annoyed when I powered the system on the first time and Windows XP did not install or even recognize the new hardware was plugged in. After a little searching in the Instruction sheet, I found the information I needed. A new drive must be partitioned and formatted before use. I removed the 160Gig WD and replaced it with a Maxtor 20Gig that was already partitioned, (changing the enclosed drive requires a complete disassembly.) Once the drive is installed over the USB interface, you can delete the partitions and rebuild it anyway desired.
