In September 2007, Turn 10 Studios released a racing game that offered an incredible racing experience for novice and pro racing game enthusiasts alike. The game featured over 300 of the world's hottest cars on the world's most famous tracks. With a wide range of tuning and customization options, the player was also able to sell and collect user-customized rides through a huge online community. The game was Forza Motorsport 2—an Xbox 360 exclusive that did for the racing genre what Halo did for first-person shooters on Microsoft's premier gaming console. In October 2009, Turn 10 followed up with the highly-anticipated sequel: Forza Motorsport 3 with even more cars, more tracks and a number of refinements that may make it THE racing game to beat as it continues to go strong in 2010.
