Today marks the release of AMD's Leo platform, featuring the Phenom II X6 processor and 890FX chipset, and HD5800 series graphic cards. With it specifically comes the Phenom II X6, which is the desktop iteration of the Istanbul chip, and is AMD's fastest desktop chip to date. We look at the 1090T and see how this hex-core performs when stacked up against Intel's Core i7 chips. You may be surprised at the results.
