The spring of 2010 saw Apple's entire MacBook Pro range updated, though this 13-inch model didn't get as extensive an upgrade as the 15- and 17-inch versions. Unlike its stable mates, it didn't make the switch to Intel's new Core i-series chips, and so doesn't benefit from their new technologies such as Turbo Boost, Hyper Threading and an integrated memory controller.
