Dell Ultrasharp U2711 Review

And you'd be wrong. Have a chat with owners of that most majestic of monitors, the 30-incher, and you'll discover many have come to the conclusion that bigger isn't always better.

| Very nice monitor. I bought one. But will say the #1 detraction is the graininess of the antiglare coating on the inside of the front panel. It's not AS bad as the 2410, but until IPS monitors get rid of that graininess, they will always have a hit to their reputation because it's really not at all pleasant to stare at. Overall the monitor is "good" but not "great". Either a clear "glare" panel on the front or figuring out how to copy Samsung's (smooth) antiglare coating methods would do this monitor a world of good. Make sure you buy one with a good warranty in case it is something that drives you crazy. Many folks have returned them. |
