At the beginning there was the word and the word was Fermi, and Jen-Hsun saw that it was good. Unfortunately he also saw that yields for the good Fermi chip weren't too hot, and lo, the GTX 480 was born with a slightly sliced GPU. The GTX 480 begat the further sliced GTX 470 and the GTX 470 begat the even more cutdown GTX 465. So here it is, the last revision of the first Nvidia DirectX 11 graphics chip, the GF100 GPU.
