Back on my test bench today is a new budget motherboard from Jetway. Jetway has been a big player in the OEM market but fast changing the perception that is all they are. Over the past few months we have seen some nice performance motherboard. Some even overclocked very decently. But today’s sample is an all-around motherboard boasting the AMD 880G chipset. With its integrated Radeon HD 4250 you will not win any performance or overclocking records but what you will is a good reliable motherboard that can be the basis of a nice home theater PC.

The new IGP motherboard is well suited to support AMD’s latest hexa-core processors but being a budget motherboard is a perfect fit for AMD’s Athlon X2, X3 and X4 processors. A mixture of one of this low power consuming processors, on-board HDMI, DDR3 1333 support and high definition audio is the perfect beginnings for a home theatre build.
