Nikon has proved once again that the boundaries between DSLRs and compacts are shrinking with the arrival of the Nikon P7000. This chunky compact is a dead ringer for the Canon Powershot G11 (and recently announced G12) and like its main rival it is something of a hybrid camera, offering professional functionality in an almost compact body.
