TrendNET is touting their new TEW-61GR Router as being able to support 450 megabit-per-second transfer rates using 802.11n. This speed claim will be put to the test, in addition to the router’s capabilities as a gigabit switch and network server. It is competitively priced, and could be a viable alternative to more dominant devices from Linksys/Cisco or Netgear.
