From our observations, the Sapphire Radeon 9600XT is already an "upgraded" card the moment you take it out from the box. Running at a default memory speed of 650Mhz, which is 50Mhz higher than the original specs, most users should welcome that extra "bonus". However, it is not an overclocking card and it will not run to those insane 750-800Mhz memory speed. This card is mainly for mainstream users who don't give a hoot about overclocking
