Tritton AX180 Gaming Headphones Review

The bundled Xbox 360 headset is probably…nay, the worst headset ever made known to man. I don’t think it would last a fall of even 2 feet, and the sound quality is probably slightly better than a children toy from China. But the trouble is we don’t really much have a choice. It’s either that, or not, or you know, splash out to get something like the Tritton AX180 we have for review today. For us we-are-not-allowed-to-turn-up-the-volume gamers, a traditional headset does not make the cut for multiplayer. To use the in-game chat feature, we would have to lug the Xbox headset around our neck with the mic protruding from the side at an embarrassing angle. Tritton AX180, however, are specifically tuned in for Xbox 360 and PS3, as in it supports in-game voice chat from its bundled mic itself, negating the need for those hideous thing ever again.
