We’ve had a play with LG’s Optimus Pad – the new 8.9-inch 10 x 768 tablet running Android 3.0 Honeycomb. While the main specs are no different to those we’ve seen from other tablets – notably the Motorola Xoom – there is a USP – it can take 3D still pictures and video. The 630g tablet packs a 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 processor. The dual-core performance really shows and we were able to zip round the interface at speed.
