Bob from ThinkComputers received OCZ's new Vertex 3 SSD and put it through his benchmarking suite. The SSD receives a perfect 10/10 and the website's Editor's Choice award for its impressive performance. The Vertex 3 delivers a whopping 554MB/s read speed and 522MB/s write speed in ATTO, and IOPS is also very impressive. The only drawback seems to be the high price of SSDs.
