The Blue Snowball has a very retro look, and keeping things as simple and elegant as possible is what it’s all about. The white globe on top with a meshed grill and chrome plating makes the Blue Snowball look like something straight from the 50s. The big microphone itself is on a thin stand with tripod legs, also in chrome finish. The mesh grill surrounds the big microphone so sound is recorded from 360°, but the rear of the mic also houses the 3-slide switch and the USB input.
