Installation of the Aerocool DP-101 proved to be very simple thanks to the tool-less thumb grip on the mounting mechanism. Despite the overall size of the Aerocool DP-101, the footprint is rather small and securely attaches to the socket using all six lugs. Once mounted, the height of the unit does become apparent and provides a unique appearance of a traditional heatsink that has been rotated 90 degrees. The included 60mm fan mounts on the only available location on the right hand side of the fan shroud and blows air through the unit to cool the fins
