Thermaltake is no stranger to cooling, it's what they do. Besides making world class CPU coolers, cases and power supplies, they also make some of the best notebook coolers on the market. I've already had the pleasure to check out two previous models of their Massive line of notebook coolers; the Massive 23 CS and the Massive 23 ST. I'm back today with their newest model; the Thermaltake Massive23 LX Notebook Cooler. What's the difference between them, you ask? Read on to find out.

I have two of the sister model of this cooler and they work extremely well.

That said, it would be nice if they came with a vented bottom plate that would let it sit on your lap without blocking the fan intake, yet have enough space between said bottom fan and the fan intake to let the fan breathe properly.

The silverstone NB01 was a beautiful design (have 2 of those as well), that is my benchmark by which I just coolers that are capable of sitting on your lap without blocking the fans. Very few coolers can do this, yet they all "should".
