AMD's APU dream is finally being realized with the release of the new A-series chips that combine quad CPU cores, CPU northbridge, and integrated Radeon HD 5000-series graphics all one die. We put the new A8-3850 APU through the testbench with a Gigabyte A75M-UD2H motherboard to see if it all ends up being Fusion or conFusion with the Llano platform that looks to extend to desktop and mobile computing.
