The humble keyboard has been around for a fair few years now, pretty much since the inception of the computer the keyboard has been with us. It has come a long long way though, from the horrid mechanical clicking boards of old, to the soft-touch gaming boards that we all now know.

One gaming board that catches the eye and our attention here at HardwareLook is the SteelSeries Shift, and not only have Steelseries been kind enough to provide us with one, they have given us a limited edition version to play with. But is it any good? We aim to find out.
