After trying the NZXT Enthusiast fans in several different setting and positions, I discovered that the low and medium settings are barely noticeable. In fact they are not as loud as the stock case fans they replaced and move a little more air through my case. The high setting was definitely noticeable however. It was loud enough to drown out all the other fans in the case, but it did move a lot more air. . .
