Corsair Force 3 120GB SSD Review

We've already had a look at the Corsair 120GB Force 3 GT drive and now it's time to give the non-GT version a go on our test bench. These drives are virtually identical save for the type of NAND flash employed and a paint job. Will that make much of a performance difference? Have a read and see how this drive with asynchronous 25nm NAND Flash performs on our test system against tons of other SSDs!

Quote: "Overall, the Force 3 drive is pretty much what you expect to see with the average, more affordable SandForce SF-2200 drives. Very good all around performance, but not among the elite drives across all tests. Then again, it's not supposed to be. The GT is the flagship for the Force series and has the performance to back it up - but the non-GT is no slouch. This is really due to the hardware difference between them, with the GT having synchronous NAND and the non-GT having asynchronous NAND..."
