The Vertex 3 almost doubles the performance of the Vertex 2 in every way; read performance, write performance and maximum IOPS. I have a Vertex 3 on the test bench today and can't wait to put it head-to-head with the Vertex 2 and see how well those numbers stack up in terms of real-world performance (after all, that's what we really want from a drive, right?).
