Today I have a goliath sized monitor here to try out - the Samsung SA850 isn't only large in terms of it's 27" screen size, but it also has an incredibly high 2560x1440 resolution (higher than 1080p HD!). The SA850 is aimed more at the business and professional crowds and is one of Samsung's first monitors to debut with Samsung's very own PLS panel under the hood. The SA850 has a nice assortment of features, and the PLS panel promises IPS style performance with up to a 10% savings over buying an actual IPS monitor. Let's see just how well the SA850 fares for it's premium price over a TN based monitor.
