Two weeks back I included the Gigabyte G1.Assassin 2 as part of the Intel X79 motherboards roundup, wherein the performance of this beastly motherboard left much to be desired; especially where overclocking was concerned. However, with the newly revised BIOS (ver. F5) I thought I’ll give this high-end board another. Not to mention the price alone, which merits an in-depth analysis of the features.
