Today I have the Samsung ML-2540 laser printer here which is a basic single-purpose laser printer (no fax or scanning capabilities, that is) with a price tag around $97 CDN. The ML-2540 is spec'd in such a way that it should easily be able to keep up to the demands of home printing or small home office printing, with a monthly duty cycle of up to 12,000 pages.
