Xigmatek Gigas Review
Posted on 2012-02-20 12:44:38 by Thomas De MaesschalckXigmatek have been carving out a bit of a name for themselves since their founding back in 2005. With the successful Elysium, Utguard and Midguard seeing them firmly plant their feet on the rungs of the case manufacturers ladder. The release of the Gigas sees them try their hand at something a little bit different. An elongated cube type case the Gigas is able to accept both Micro ATX and mini ITX boards, while at the same time it's 4 expansion slots offer the ability to house GPUs up to 12.5" in length without ruling out the option of Crossfire or SLI. The ample internal dimensions also mean it can house coolers up to 160mm in height. But is it an HTPC or a desk top? or perhaps a bit of both.
