The Palit GeForce GTX 680 verses the Sapphire Radeon HD 7970. The Palit GeForce GTX 680 uses the GK104 GPU at 1000Mhz and has 2GB GDDR5 memory running at 6000Mhz. The Palit GeForce GTX 680 has a 256Bit Memory Interface, 1536 Shader Processors and DirectX 11.1. The Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 uses the Bitcairn GPU at 1000Mhz and has 2GB GDDR5 memory running at 4800Mhz. The Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 has a 256Bit Memory Interface, 1280 Shader Processors and DirectX 11.1. We will be testing the Palit GeForce GTX 680 and Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 with Battlefield 3, Crysis 2, Dirt 3, Elder Scrolls V Skyrim for benchmarking.
