The Speck CandyShell View is an interesting example of a thoughtfully designed case. It looks tough on the outside, but has a soft center. Well, perhaps soft isn’t the right word here; more protective and comfortable perhaps. The CandyShell View basically has two layers of casing. On the outside we have a hard plastic resin with a matte black finish. The surface is very smooth so you can easily slide your iPhone 4/4S in and out of your pockets, with just about enough grip to not slide from your hands.
