In 2000, a dream video card was something like the GeForce 2 GT or a RADEON 7500. Each had about 32MB of RAM, or 64MB if you had a bigger wallet. For some strange reason they could play every game of their time perfectly. Remember that? Well now, games look more realistic and require more processing to be done. To get all this processing done, the GPUs have more transistors than some of the best desktop CPUs, video RAM sizes have shot up to almost as much as some computers.
