The latest Apple MacBook Pro 15-inch (Mid-2012), updates the classic laptop with Intel's latest third-generation quad-core processor and adds USB 3.0 connections, which are arguably much more useful than the niche Thunderbolt port that Apple has invested so heavily in. The design, however, could use some updating as it is now feeling a bit dated.
