Its design is certainly out of the ordinary and since its release, has gotten its nickname "HAL", due to its uncanny resemblance to the infamous HAL 9000 computer in Stanley Kubrick's excellent film, 2001: A Space Odyssey. This is primarily because of its red LED when the webcam is in operation and its somewhat distinct yet innovative ability to track the movements of the object in its view.
