Crucial Ballistix Tactical LP DDR3 1600MHz 16GB Memory Kit Review

Posted on Tuesday, December 25 2012 @ 10:49:55 CET by

Earlier in the year, I had a look at an updated version of some memory, which when we look at it has been popular for a number of years as the Ballistix range. It has to be said that I was very impressed with the kit, both on the front of its stock performance, but also its ability to go that bit further when overclocked. The kit I've got today is from the same Tactical line, but this time features a low profile design and a whopping 16GB capacity in two sticks running at a slightly lower speed of 1600MHz. If the other kit is anything to go by, then I've got great hopes for the LP kit going well over and above its rated speeds and the door to bandwidth and performance opening right up.
