The WinBook C240 is built around Intel's Pentium M 725 (1.6GHz) processor, which has the same 2MB of Level 2 cache but relies on a 400MHz front-side bus and DDR memory -- 512MB of PC2700 a.k.a. DDR333 is standard -- instead of its new siblings' 533MHz bus with DDR-2. But that doesn't stop the notebook from showing perfectly capable application performance.
