Tesoro are not the biggest name in the peripheral business, but they’ve already earned themselves some impressive awards, not to mention captured many people’s imagination with their unique and modern designs. While Tesoro have always had cool designs for their products, they wouldn’t be where they are today if they didn’t also back that up with great performance, and we hope to find plenty of it in the Tesoro Kuven gaming headset we’re taking a look at today. Priced at around $69.99 / €69.99 the Kuven should be competing with firm favourites from Cooler Master, TteSports and Steelseries, to name but a few. All of whom have a competitive product in this price range and we’ll be looking for performance that at least matches the competition in this price range, as well as that one stand-out feature that would tempt us into making a purchase. Promising stereo sound with the addition of virtual 7.1 surround thanks to its built-in USB sound card, the Kuven sounds like a tempting purchase. Tesoro offer the headset in a Devil and an Angel edition, which is effectively just a black one and a while one, we have the Angel (white) edition in for review today. As you can see from the specification below, we have large drivers, detachable ear cups, long braided cables, an in-line controller and part aluminium construction.
