Phase change was basically unheard of for a long time, mostly due to the complexity and expense. It wasn't until processor wattage began to overpower the traditional water-cooled Peltier that people starting paying more attention to phase change, and with Vapochill's expanding development of their phase change, you would actually see these things at LAN parties or computer shows. Not to bore you with too much history, but the bottom line is if you want the ultimate in cooling your processor you're in luck because its no longer hard to find.
