The TS-451 does a lot of new and exciting things and it seems to do them very well. However it hasn’t forgotten about the basics either. When it came to throughput performance the TS-451 delivered, providing some of the best results we have seen. The TS-451’s greatest rival in terms of performance is the DS414, and while the Synology NAS was slightly faster when downloading files, the TS-451 was able to best it in one of our upload tests.
