Overall the Synology DS215j is as powerful as a sub $250 NAS device gets right now. With the added bonus of being able to use the feature rich DSM 5.1 software, the DS215j offers even more value. Consumers can also rest assured that Synology will continue to support the DS215j with updated DSM versions for the foreseeable future. Having arrived just in time for Christmas, we think Santa will likely be delivering more than a few DS215j’s.
