Moving on we see that the AMD FX series seems to sit squarely between the Intel Core i3 and Core i5 series, which isn’t entirely surprising given what we already know about the real-world performance of these CPUs. What is interesting is that if these draw call results are any indication at all of how CPU bound DX12 gaming might look, then we could finally see games that really take advantage of the Core i7’s extra threads.
