Where to begin, well, the design and look of this device, absolutely gorgeous, buttons well placed, original playstation style buttons, something we're all use to by now ;]

The Display: wow, for a device this small, the 16:9 lcd looks huge for this device, it plays movies at a quality you've never experienced on a screen so small, it's a new experience for games, nice and bright, i own 2 lcd monitors, a nintendo ds, and 2 digital cams, and the psp's lcd is far more gorgeous then all of them, the pixels are so tiny on the psp compared to my other lcd devices it gives it a much clearer picture

The Games: wow, wipeout pure, simply an amazing game and truly stunning graphics for a handheld, far beyond what we've ever seen before, if your a fan of the old wipeout games for playstation, this one is far better, and if your not, its a racing game you'll learn to love!, twisted metal head-on, another amazing game, any fan of twisted metal is going to love this on the psp, the graphics are amazing, the multiplayer is what makes this game!, if you have a wireless router in your house, u can play twisted metal over the internet vs others around the country, a first for a handheld. lumines, wow, this game is VERY addicting and fun, tetris i get bored of after a while, this, im playing 45 minutes straight without dying, getting better and better every round, music is amazing, definitely the best strategy game for psp right now, thats all i own right now, and i am truly impressed, i choose these games over any nintendo DS game anytime, and i am a nintendo ds owner as well, psp's got more launch titles then DS has in total titles, psp not only has the quantity, but the quality as well, get yourself this device before there all gone!

The Movies: well i only have spiderman2 that it came with, comparing it to the dvd, the quality is stunning, but you will have to plug in headphones of external speakers to get good sound for your movies though. my only on visually quality of movies, is i could barely read the credits at the end as they were too small!

The Music: well its got ups and downs, get this device for gaming though, not for the built in mp3 support. the memory cards for this device are very pricey at the moment, but they play fine, with the use of headphones of external speakers of course, id stick with the ipod for music.

Other Cool Features: web browser built into wipeout pure, if you search around u can find plenty of info on it and how to use it, but its got a fully functional html web browser, there is also an IRC client that somebody created that is powered by the web browsers capabilities. very cool

Other Stuff I Like: one thing i like about the psp that no other portable console has, is the ability to update the software on the device over the internet, so if sony wants to add some new features they can easily do so! if any bugs are found they can always release an update to fix whatevers wrong, basicly, the device will never get old, cuz they can always add new features and fix problems people may encounter ;]

The Price: $250, aight yea its pricey for the average consumer, but sony is still losing money for every one they sell, they make there money on the games, if you can spit up the cash id say go for it, you WONT be disappointed.

Conclusion: overall i think sony did a wonderful job with there first portable console. it produced graphics visually stunning, never experienced before on a handheld. its more then just a gaming device, it plays movies and music well too, although i would buy this device exclusively for gaming.
