PC Building Simulator Review (Early Access Phase) Review

”Is PC Building Simulator a worthy game to add to your library? As it is now, which is very early in its early access phase, I do lean toward a positive recommendation, but I am not completely there, and there would be qualifications to it as well. The most significant qualification in my mind is its current very low-stress design. For just sitting down and doing something to relax, it is pretty good, but if you want a challenge, this is not a game for you in its current form. All communication with the customers being one-sided is also a bit disappointing currently, but I can see that coming down to who the player is. The graphics will not blow your mind, but there is no reason for that to be a necessity. They do their job well enough and if I must give a criticism it is that the materials of some products do not always look accurate to life, but again, photorealism is not required. There is no story to speak of, although the email conversations can be amusing if you read them. The gameplay is enjoyable but is almost void of stress and pressure. I do hope that will change in time, and would even prefer it if this came as a difficulty slider of difficulty toggles, so one could always have a game going to just relax and build to. This is not a bad place to start from, and I can see there being lots of potential here. Hopefully, that potential will be tapped to make this a more engaging experience as we progress through the early access phase. I am looking forward to seeing what comes in the future.”
