OCZ has certainly been proving itself to be one of the top contenders in the memory market, along with the fact that it is every overclocker's best friend. Here is where the VX comes into play; unlike typical memory, VX DDR performs best at an above average voltage without any adverse affects to stability. All this allows this module to run with tight timings of 2-2-2 at 500MHz when running 3.3 volts and this makes this module very unique. This level of performance requires a rated voltage of 3.3 and not all motherboards can support it. Consequently, we did run into technical difficulties.
