"The Tomb Raider series of games has long been recognized as a classic, so when it received a reboot in 2013 with Tomb Raider, many fans and gamers in general were likely skeptical at first, but it proved to be a good game and strong entry in the franchise. It was followed up by Rise of the Tomb Raider and now we have the finale to the reboot trilogy, Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The stakes are high in this one as Lara must fight against Trinity, an organization bent on controlling the world using powers protected by ancient cultures, and now those powers could allow it to remake the world as it wishes. Also, with it being the third game in this new set of stories for introducing and developing Lara Croft into the Tomb Raider, it will likely have a significant impact on the series going forward."
