Umax Astra 6700 Review

The Astra 6700 is an inexpensive, 2400-dpi, flatbed scanner that connects to your Mac via USB 2.0. It does a good job of scanning photos and other reflective media, but when using the included external transparency adapter, film and slide scans were noisy.

The Astra 6700 is not supported in Tiger. My Astra 6700, purchased just a month before the release of Tiger, has failed after the warranty expired. View the posts: http://www.macworld.com/forums/ubbthreads/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Board=newsthread&Number=320781&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=&o=&vc=1
