We all knew eventually NVIDIA would have to make a big move, with all of the commotions around new RYZEN and Radeon Navi arriving soon. It is here and it's the RTX SUPER series. But wait, let’s take a look where it all started, it was with a teaser right before Computex 2019 in Taipei Taiwan. The metallic super icon simply teasing a SUPER announcement. Computex came and went with nary an official mention of what SUPER would be. Then, AMD announced and showcased not only their new Radeon RX 5700 XT and RX 5700 GPUs, the first to use the new 7nm GPUs based on NAVI Arch. With this, AMD gave a sneak peek behind the curtain with rough baselines of expected performance. Then came the release date announcement of market availability on 7/7.
