"We’ve been hearing about AMD’s Radeon RX 5500 XT for a while now and it is finally here. With the success of their RX 5700 series of graphics cards it makes sense for AMD to release a lower-priced card to compete against NVIDIA’s entry-level offerings. AMD’s RX 5500 XT is based on the 7nm “Navi 14” silicon and features 22 RDNA Compute Units, 1408 Stream Processors, 88 TMUs, 32 ROPs, and a 128-bit wide GDDR6 memory interface. With this release AMD will hopefully phase out the ever-popular “Polaris” based RX 580 and RX 570 cards. Today we are checking out Sapphire’s Pulse RX 5500 XT 8GB version of the card, which is very similar to the Pulse RX 5700 card we took a look at earlier this year. It features a factory-overclock of 1737 MHz for the game clock and 1845 MHz for the boost clock as well as a custom dual-fan cooling solution. Let’s go ahead and take a look!"
