AMD’s Radeon team once again has sprung another GPU upon us with the new RX 5600 XT, and this time it is destined to fill the gap between the previous RX 5500 XT and the RX 5700 series. While this is not “Big NAVI” as so many gamers are waiting for to take on Nvidia’s top dog RTX 2080 SUPER, and 2080 Ti, it is focusing on more filling the gap in the midrange GPU space which is where a bulk of the cards that gamers buy exist. While The 5600 XT may not be exciting to the die-hard enthusiasts in the room, we must remember that a large portion of gamers are on 1080p with something around the GTX 1060 range GPU, which is right around where the RX 5600 XT is looking to reside. That being said, this is a good money play for AMD to try to fill the upgrade needs of gamers who are very value-conscious and are looking for a solid newer 1080p experience.
