Oculus Quest – VR done right Review

I’ve been interested in VR for quite some time now. While I did not back the first Oculus Rift on Kickstarter I later got the second dev-version and since then have bought HTC Vive, Sony PSVR and Oculus Go. All these devices have been good or great but all with various drawbacks. The Oculus Rift DK2 was still an dev-device in a time when VR was not yet ready for prime time. The HTC Vive was a revelation but forced me to dedicate a whole room for it with the lighthouses and had big bulky cables. Sony PSVR was ok but felt limited compared to the HTC Vive and Oculus Go simply was not powerful enough. 2019 turned out though to be a great year for VR with a bunch of cool headsets from various companies. The headset I choose to buy though was the Oculus Quest, not because it on paper was the most powerful or the cheapest, but because it looked like it had the perfect balance between performance and prices while still offer full wireless freedom. This review will tell you why I think the Oculus Quest is one of the best VR-headsets that you can buy even now, almost a year after it came out.
