"Sounds cards, to be honest they are not really something I thought about much over the past few years. Motherboard on-board audio was good enough for me and most of the time I was using a USB gaming headset anyways. When Creative offered up their Sound Blaster X3 to review I was a little hesitant as I didn't think I would have a use for it, but I am glad I accepted as it has really changed my mind about sound cards. While this external USB DAC and Amp Sound Card might be better for laptop users I think it is great for desktop users too!
