"We are back with brand new processors from AMD! In this review we will be taking a look at AMD’s latest Ryzen 9 5900X processor, which AMD is claiming is the “World’s Best Gaming Desktop Processor” and we will be sure to test if it is! This processor features 12-cores, 24-threads, a 3.7 GHz base clock, 4.8 GHz boost clock, 70MB of L2+L3 cache, and a TDP of 105W. With AMD’s Ryzen 5000 series we are moving from the “ZEN 2” architecture to the “ZEN 3” architecture, which brings with it a 19% IPC increase, new 8-core complex, and great efficiency. These new processors are still build on the 7nm process and will easily slot into an AM4 motherboard.
